Our Crisis Response and Outreach Services are available for local area businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations. We consult with each organization on a case by case basis to determine the best way to fit your needs and provide professional grief support for your employees.

Outreach Services:

Groups

Groups are offered offsite, facilitated by a trained Grief Center employee, and can be offered on a schedule that works for you and your organization.

• Survivors of Suicide Loss
• General Loss
• Grief groups for kids and teens

Crisis Response Team

The Grief Center’s Crisis Response Team is available for counseling support on-site, as well as debriefing or follow-up counseling after a sudden death impacting, your employee team, the clients you serve or other community crisis.

Our crisis counselors can provide individual or group counseling, group debriefing, training for management, leadership or HR departments, and when necessary, long-term aftercare.

The Crisis Response Team can also assist your organization with the development of a crisis response plan, make suggestions for handling death notifications as well as education for staff regarding how to best assist someone in grief.

Professional Development

The Grief Center offers in-person and virtual training and grief education. Presentations are customized based on your organization’s need. Contact us to schedule your customized grief training.
