The Grief Center is keeping the health and safety of our clients as our first priority.
Beginning 6/1, The Grief Center will be providing professional grief counseling to anyone in need via video telehealth services or in-person counseling. Sessions can be set up by calling 918-587-1200. The Grief Center accepts insurance, or individuals can take advantage of our Sliding Fee Scale Discount Program.
New safety protocols are in place for all in-person counseling sessions, including mandatory temperature checks and face masks that must be worn during your session.

Our mission is to be a safe place to grieve for all of Northeast Oklahoma, and we need that safe place now more than ever. The Grief Center offers one-on-one professional grief counseling for ages 3+. Individual, couple and family counseling sessions are available by appointment. Sessions are designed to help clients discover healthy ways to express their grief and offer coping skills that will help them navigate through the grief experience.
The Grief Center accepts insurance for individual or family sessions. Counseling can also be provided on an income-based sliding scale. Our clinical team is well versed in the complications of grief, loss and trauma as well as other behavioral health concerns. They hold a variety of licenses including LPC, LCSW, LADC and LMFT.

Individual and group counseling appointments can be scheduled over the phone. Call 918-587-1200 and a clinic coordinator will spend 15 minutes on the phone with you to set up your first appointment. Please be prepared to discuss some demographic information including age and income, as well as some questions about your loss.
The Grief Center sees individuals for all types of loss. Although most of our clients do come to us for death loss, we also see clients for divorce, incarceration, anticipatory loss, loss of mobility, and other life losses.
