COVID 19 Updates

The Grief Center is keeping the health and safety of our clients as our first priority.

To limit the risk and spread of COVID-19 we will be offering socially distanced groups in person, as well as online group options.

If you are interested in joining a group, please fill out the Group Interest Form or call us at 918-587-1200.


The Grief Center provides group counseling for adults and families. Each group is facilitated by a professional grief counselor. Most groups meet in the evenings for 7 consecutive weeks, but please check the calendar to confirm group dates.

Family Group

Designed for families with school aged children who have experienced the death of a loved one, this group provides an opportunity to have fun, connect with other families who are navigating grief as a family, and participate in activities that will strengthen the family connection.

Family Dinner will be served.

Grief Journey

The Grief Center offers a general loss groups for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one and do not currently have a loss specific group that fits their needs. Grief Journey is also open to those who have already completed a group and want to continue their grief journey with others.

Loss-Specific Groups for Adults

The Grief Center offers loss-specific grief groups throughout the year. Each group meets for six consecutive weeks (unless otherwise listed below) and addresses the unique experiences of group participants. General topics include coping with loss, remembering loved ones, the needs of grievers, changes after loss and caring for oneself while grieving. Upcoming dates can be found on our website calendar.

  • Addiction/Overdose Loss
  • Survivors of Suicide Loss
  • Pregnancy and Infant Loss

The Grief Center is also partnering with Fostering Connections to provide a grief group for foster parents to provide support during and after the transition of a child in foster care from the home.
