COVID-19 Loss

Grieving the loss of a loved one to COVID-19 during the upheaval of the pandemic can be especially overwhelming and difficult. Social distancing, travel limitations, and other public health measures during the pandemic have limited our ability to be with our loved ones in the hospital, to hold traditional funeral services, and to mourn in traditional ways with friends and family surrounding us.

Every grief journey is unique, but grieving the loss of a loved on in a pandemic creates even more challenges.

This group is for individuals who have experienced the death of a significant person by COVID-19. Participants will:

  • Receive support from others who have a similar loss
  • Learn about the grief journey
