Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day October 15, 2021

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is a special day where we remember and honor the lives of our babies.

1 in 4 women experience the death of their child during pregnancy or infancy. The death of a baby and the loss of a pregnancy impacts the entire family.

On October 15th, we invite parents, siblings, grandparents and all other family members to come together, share their stories and join us for a candle lighting ceremony to raise awareness of the need for support, encourage others to talk about their experience, and honor the babies who have died.

Our candle lighting will be a part of the International Wave of Light, which starts at the international date line and spreads a chain of light around the world in honor of our babies.

This event will include light refreshments, and is facilitated by The Grief Center staff and trained volunteers. Attendees will meet at the Family Center and walk to the Garden of Angels for the candle lighting ceremony.

There is no cost to attend.
